Join us on the shores of Lake Erie for a summer getaway that blends relaxation, connection, and unforgettable time on the water and vineyard. Ashtabula Harbor is one of the top walleye fisheries in the country, and July is prime time — warm weather, calm mornings, and steady action.
This trip is designed for women of all experience levels. Whether you’re brand‑new to fishing or you’ve been chasing walleye for years, you’ll feel supported, welcomed, and part of a crew that’s here to have fun and make memories.
What’s Included
Three nights lodging in the GOTL Harbor area (think wineries, walking distance to downtown, lakeside trails, beautiful views)
One day of guided walleye fishing with licensed Lake Erie captains
Boat Mimosas
Wine tasting and cellar tour at a beautiful vineyard
All fishing gear, tackle, and bait
Fish cleaning for your catch

What to expect:
Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome
Check in to your gorgeous lodge, settle in, and meet the group. We’ll kick off the weekend with a relaxed meet‑and‑greet and optional sunset walk along the harbor and dinner.
Day 2 – Wine tasting at a beautiful vineyard
Enjoy a relaxing day tasting amazing wines in the most gorgeous vineyard while pairing each with fresh snacks. Enjoy live music on the patio as the sun sets and you are deep in conversation with your new friends.
Day 3 – Day on Lake Erie
We’ll head out around 9 am in two boats with experienced captains (and his wife) who know these waters inside and out. Expect steady walleye action, hands‑on instruction (if you want it), and a fun, supportive atmosphere on the boat. After fishing, we will grab some dinner and visit the local Wine and Walleye festival for live music and fireworks in the harbor to end a truly epic day.
Day 4 – Slow Morning & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning, grab coffee with the group, and head home with new friends, great memories, and a cooler full of fresh walleye. Optional add on of mid-morning yoga at the winery.

Before we travel, we’ll hold Zoom calls and create private participant groups so everyone can connect, ask questions, share travel plans, and start building community long before we arrive.

At G.O. Outdoor Adventures, we understand that plans can shift and life can throw curveballs. We do our best to be understanding and flexible, while also honoring the commitments required to run high‑quality trips — including lodging, guides, permits, and other upfront costs.
Because of these fixed expenses, all deposits are non‑refundable. However, we always aim to work with participants whenever possible.
If You Need to Cancel
Please reach out as soon as you know you can’t attend. The more notice we have, the more options we can offer.
Depending on timing and availability, you may be able to:
Apply your payment toward a future G.O. Outdoor Adventures event
Transfer your spot to another participant (pending approval)
Receive a partial refund if we are able to fill your spot
Cancellations made close to the event date may not qualify for refunds due to costs already incurred.
No‑shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

If we must cancel or reschedule due to weather, emergencies, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will have the option to:
Move their registration to a future event
Receive credit toward another experience

If a payment becomes more than two weeks past due and we have not received any communication from you, your spot may be forfeited and no refund will be issued. This is because we rely on timely payments to cover lodging, guides, permits, and other event costs that are paid well in advance.

Participants must maintain a positive, respectful, and cooperative attitude throughout the trip. This includes:
Being kind and supportive toward all participants
Respecting guides, staff, and property
Being flexible with plans and changes
Negative, disruptive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.
2. Alcohol & Substance Policy
To ensure safety for all participants:
No drug use of any kind is permitted on any trip
No excessive drinking is allowed
Alcohol consumption must remain responsible and within legal limits
Anyone appearing intoxicated, impaired, or unsafe will be removed from the activity without refund.
3. Wildlife & Ethical Conduct
Participants agree to:
Treat all wildlife with respect
Follow all state and federal laws
Handle harvested animals ethically
Follow guide instructions at all times
Any violation of wildlife laws or unethical behavior will result in immediate removal from the trip.
4. Weather & Itinerary Changes
Outdoor adventures are subject to weather and environmental conditions. Participants acknowledge that:
Weather may impact or alter the schedule
Activities may be delayed, adjusted, or modified
Safety decisions made by guides are final
Participants must be willing to go with the flow and adapt as needed.
5. Transportation
G.O. Outdoor Adventures is not responsible for providing transportation to or from the event location unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Their own travel arrangements
